Iolite means violet and can be dark almost black purple to almost transparent and various other mixes of color depending on minerals in the vein. Each has been formed into a unique pyramid to amplify its attributes and display its color. Often sought for healing and third eye sight, or to obtain restful sleep, even blessed dreams.
